Bosanski Petrovac is well connected by road with the Republic of Croatian and thus with other European countries as well. It is also close to a number of large ports and major centers (Split, Sibenik, Zadar, Rijeka). Company description Company B-oils d.o.o was founded in June 2016. The main activity is the production, processing, collection and purchase of medicinal, aromatic and spice plants, production of essential oils, and the production of cold-pressed oils from fruit stones and oilseeds.
Project status: In progress
Project description: The project proposes the production of essential and cold pressed oils in Bosanski Petrovac. Currently company has an area of 5ha of its own and 15ha of its subcontractors, and it can produce 30 tons of raw materials for the production of essential oils. This quantity can be processed in 30 working days. Company also plan to include subcontractors in plantation cultivation of medicinal plants. With an assortment of 160 species of wild plants in this area, the company is planning to purchase plants and mushrooms from local collectors. The company has a business building of 300 m2, equipment (distiller with a capacity of 1200 l volume, 2 dryers, one of which is vacuum, a line for cold-pressed oils, a tractor and other machinery). Company has a production plant for the production and storage of raw materials and finished products, a vacuum distiller with a capacity of 600 kg with a steam boiler Sukom 100P, a line for selecting cold-pressed oil. Company also has equipment for drying medicinal plants – 300 kg vacuum dryers and “classic” 400 kg dryers. The production of seedlings takes place in part in a greenhouse of 100 m2, and vacuum drying line. Company is certified as 100% natural, which means no added ingredients, no pesticides and other chemical ingredients, etc. Without added colours, flavours or preservatives, fruits are 100% natural. The original taste and smell of the fruit have been preserved. Lyophilisation is a process of deep-freezing the agricultural goods, and for this stage of production company need the facilities and full equipment’s. Essential oils are produced from organically grown plants on plantations of owner. Part of the project is completed and fully operating, next stage is to start a complete lyophilisation production.
